Police freeze Rs. 35 million property allegedly belonging to ‘Loku Patty’

The Illegal Assets Investigation Division has moved to freeze property valued at around Rs. 35 million, allegedly belonging to remanded suspected drug trafficker Lathuwahandi Sujeewa Ruwan Kumara de Silva, alias “Loku Patty”.

Police said the property includes a 15-perch land and a house built on it, which are suspected to have been acquired through proceeds from drug trafficking.

The land and house are located in the Keppetiyagahalanda area of Matugama.

The investigation is being conducted by the Illegal Assets Investigation Division (Newswire)
