Four arrested with firearms, ammunition in Kolonnawa raids

Four suspects have been arrested with a cache of firearms and ammunition during two raids carried out in the Kolonnawa area by the Western Province North Crime Investigation Division.

Police said officers recovered a 9mm pistol, seven firearms capable of using T-56 ammunition and more than 600 rounds of 9mm ammunition during the operations.

Further investigations into the four suspects are being conducted by the Western Province North Crime Investigation Division. ( Newswire)
