Heavy Rain Alert for 12 Districts

Heavy Rain Advisory: Sri Lanka’s Department of Meteorology warns of heavy rainfall of around 100 mm in parts of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces, as well as Galle and Matara districts.

The amber advisory remains valid until 7 a.m. on September 23. Residents are urged to be prepared.
