133 Sri Lankan workers to leave for construction jobs in Israel

A total of 133 Sri Lankan workers selected for construction-sector jobs in Israel are scheduled to leave the country tomorrow (September 23), according to the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE).

An awareness programme for workers selected for employment in Israel’s construction and infrastructure sectors, along with the distribution of air tickets, was held at the SLBFE auditorium on September 14, 2026, under the patronage of SLBFE Chairman Koshal Wickramasinghe.

Air tickets were distributed to 133 workers selected for construction-sector jobs and 17 workers selected for infrastructure-sector employment. (Newswire)
