New CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment a Houthi missile struck King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, Oct. 10, killing at least 13 people and injuring more than 300.
The footage, released by Al Arabiya, captures passengers, including Umrah pilgrims preparing to board flights, as an explosion strikes the airport terminal.
The video shows a sudden flash, followed by falling debris and passengers running for safety.
Saudi authorities initially reported 12 deaths and 309 injuries, with the death toll subsequently rising to 13 after an Indian national died from injuries sustained in the attack.
Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed responsibility for the strike, which forced the suspension of airport operations and disrupted international flights.
The airport was targeted again on Sunday, resulting in another death and 11 injuries, according to Saudi authorities. (Newswire)
