‘Kudu Batti’ further remanded

Two suspects including ‘Kudu Batti’, who have been arrested in connection with drug trafficking, were ordered to be remanded till September 14 by Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela yesterday.

The Special Task Force on Tuesday arrested two suspects including a woman known as ‘Kudu Batti’ who are accomplices of the notorious drug kingpin and the leader of an organized criminal gang Nadun Chinthaka alias ‘Harak Kata’. The duo were handed over to the Welikada Police. Investigations revealed the suspects were distributing heroin under the influence of ‘Harak Kata’.

Following a information received by Police Special Task Force, the duo have been arrested at the Kotte Road in Rajagiriya while in possession of heroin.
