Sayumdee leads HFC to win U-15 Milo Netball title

Sayumdee Weerasooriya led the Holy Family Convent Kurunegala under 15 netball team to emerge champions at the recently concluded Milo All Island schools Netball Championship.

Nethuni Divyanjana Jayawickrama the promising player was outstanding throughout the tournament and she won the Best Player award. Familians maintained a good attack from the start while Goal Shooter (GS) Januli Ekanayake played a superb game to increase their points. At the semi final HFC defeated Sri Devananda Ambalangoda 28/10.

The champion under 15 HFC Kurunegala team comprised Sayumdee Weerasooriya (Capt), Nethuni Jayawickrama, Januli Ekanayake, Chamalsha Erandi, Melani Habarakada, Dehimi Jithsarani, Amasha Sonali, Maleesha Roshani, Januli Madanayake, Sanuli Deshappriya, Dulwanya Mihangi and Sesadi Uhansa.
