Vaccine drive for over 60s will continue during lockdown

Essential services (such as pharmacies, apparel and agricultural sectors) will function as usual during the lockdown period, announced the Head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.

He also further said that, the Sri Lanka Army, Navy, Air Force and health sector will continue the vaccine drive for persons over the age of 60 during the quarantine curfew period.
