Kandy Esala festival to continue without spectators

The historical Kandy Esala Perahera this year will continue without spectators in spite of the quarantine curfew, said the Army Commander General Shavendra Silva.

The Kumbal Perahera paraded on August 13. The Randoli Perahera commenced on August 18 will continue till August 22.

The festival will end on August 23 with the Water Cutting Ceremony and the Day Perahera.
