Falcons team champions of Lex Sixers – 2022

‘Lex Sixers -2022’ cricket tournament organized by the Department of Legal Studies of the Open University of Sri Lanka was held at the university ground on November 19.

‘Falcons’ team of the Colombo Regional Centre (CRC) confronted the ‘A- Pro Max’ team from the same centre in the finals and bagged the championship.

‘Kandy Tuskers’ from the Kandy Regional Centre and ‘Titans’ from CRC played in the semi finals against the ‘Falcons’ and ‘A- Pro Max’ respectively.

Sumudu Mapalagama of the Falcons was awarded the Man of the Match, Man of the Series and the Best Batsman of the Series awards while Sameera Perera and Hansani Wickremesinghe were awarded the Best Bowler of the Series and Woman of the Series awards respectively.

The Department of Legal Studies organized this tournament after three years since 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
