Cop, three others remanded on robbery charges

Three people including a Police Constable who were said to have robbed a house in the Meethotamulla area while posing as Policemen were ordered to be remanded till today by Colombo Additional Magistrate Harshana Kekunawela yesterday. 

The arrested were identified as Sameera Madusanka, K.A.Nissanka and Danushka Sanjeewa Dias.

The Wellampitiya Police informed the Magistrate that four silver rings and Rs.10,000 were stolen from the house.
