Agency owner arrested for attempting to send woman abroad for domestic work

An agency owner who attempted to send a woman abroad as a domestic worker in Oman by falsely registering with the Foreign Employment Bureau (FEB) as a self-employed person travelling abroad for a job in Seychelles, has been arrested by Officers of the FEB Special Investigation Division.

When the woman went to the airport, the officers of the airport unit of the FEB checked her registration and found that she had an employment visa issued Seychelles and a tourist visa issued under the State of Oman.

It was revealed during investigations that the agency owner had made the documents and tried to send the woman on a visit visa to Oman.

The suspect has been produced in Court.
