In a bid to promote small and medium luxury and boutique hotels in Sri Lanka, YourRevenuePartner.com in London has come forward to market them in the UK.
Founder Chairman, YourRevenuePartner.com in London, Jean- Marc Lambert speaking to Daily News Business said that they promote small and medium luxury and boutique hotels all over the world for high end British travelers.
“I have observed that several small and medium luxury and boutique hotels were built soon after the end of the war in Sri Lanka to crash on the tourism boom that was evident during the time. Their success also promoted other entrepreneurs who also followed their success and built expensive hotels.”
“However, some of these new entrepreneurs who entered the hotel field did not have skills and contacts in ‘Tourism marketing’ and some properties found it difficult to attract high end tourists.”
He said that after the Easter Sunday Bombing followed up by the C-19 Pandemic and the economic crisis and political unrest that followed this segment suffered a further blow. “However in contrast the bigger chain hotels due to their international marketing networks and other ‘pluses’ have absorbed this shock and are now returning to ‘near’ normal.”
“To assist and promote small and medium luxury and boutique hotels, we have now started marketing Sri Lanka to our network of high end UK travelers.” Mark Lambert said that today British travelers who had negative sentiments towards Sri Lanka are keen to travel to Sri Lanka as they know the country is ready to accept travelers. “Also this segment doesn’t use low cost travel and hence they don’t find any transport issues as well.”
He said that today some of the newly built luxury villas are already receiving high end British travelers and we are now looking to add more medium luxury and boutique hotels in Sri Lanka to our network as the demand for Sri Lanka is increasing from British luxury travelers.” (SS)
