Approval to implement cost-reflective electricity tariffs

Minister of Power and Energy Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera stated in a tweet that the Cabinet approved the revision of the general policy guidelines for the electricity industry.

It further states that the Cabinet approved the implementation of cost-reflective electricity tariffs to be implemented from January 2023 onwards.
