Opposition protests in Parliament demanding LG Elections – Parliament adjourned

Speaker of Parliament adjourned the Parliamentary session today (21 February) following a protest by the opposition MPs demanding the Local Government elections.

Today’s parliamentary session commenced at 9.30am chaired by the speaker and was adjourned soon after due to the protest by the opposition MPs.
