Air Arabia launches Colombo Abu Dhabi flights

Air Arabia launched a new route connecting Abu Dhabi (AUH) and Colombo (CMB) on December 8 and now will fly direct between AUH and CMB every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Launching Air Arabia’s new route to Sri Lanka, the first flight from Abu Dhabi to Colombo was welcomed by a celebratory water cannon salute upon arrival and Ceylon tea gift packs by the Sri Lanka Tea Board. Nawaloka Aviation is the GSA for Air Arabia.

Sri Lankan Ambassador to the UAE Udaya Indrarathne, CAASL Chairman G. S. Withanage, AASL Vice Chairman Athula Galketiya, Air Arabia Country Manager Shibin Nazeem, and officials of Nawaloka Aviation, CAASL, and AASL attended the event.
