Another major upset in world cup as Afghanistan beat Pakistan by 8 wickets.

Pakistan won the Toss and elected to bat first.  Babar Asam made 74 , Abdulla Shafique made 58 , Shadab Khan and Ifthikar Ahmed made 40 each and Pakistan made 282 for loss of 8 wickets. Afghan bowlers Noor Ahmad got 3 wickets, Naveen ul Haq got 2 wickets, Mohammad Nabi and Azmatulla Omarzai got 1 wicket each.

In reply Afghanistan were solid they were always on top of their batting. Ramanulla Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran gave a good opening stand for the first wicket. Ramanulla was 65 and 2nd wicket was Ibrahim Zadran 87.  Afghanistan won the game by 8 wickets. It is a comprehensive win.
