Anti-narcotics operation: More than 2,000 arrested

2,166 individuals have been arrested with drugs during a 24-hour special operation ending at 12:30 a.m. today (Dec.19), the Public Security Ministry said.

Among the suspects arrested during the operation, 66 are being investigated under detention orders, while 169 among them  have been wanted by the investigation officers. Meanwhile, financial asset investigations have been initiated on 14 arrestees and sent 226 for rehabilitation.
