The inaugural big match between Asian Grammar School Gothatuwa and Royal International school Kurunegala will be held on July 1 at D.S Senanayake College grounds Wijerama Mawatha, commence from 10a.m.
The players of both schools are expected to showcase their talent. “Cricket has become a fashion today and school level players are the future of National cricket,” added Dr Thushari Koralage the founder of Asian Grammar School Gothatuwa.
Muhammed Sadhaadh will lead the Asian Grammar School team while Mahadi Ahamed is his deputy skipper. R.H.M.S.T Kaluhendiwela is leading the Royal International school Kurunegala while S.M.Rimxi is the vice captain of the side G.J.C Perera the coach of Royal International school and Manoj Millawithanachchi the head coach of Asian Grammar School give their fine support to build up their respective teams.
