Asiri and Dinal join Champion Kandy Sports Club

Kingswood College’s 2020 rugby Captain, Sri Lanka national under 19, 15 a side player and Sri Lanka national under 20 seven a side fly half Asiri

Seneviratne has decided to join Champion Kandy Sports Club during the upcoming inter club rugby season.

Asiri was one of the prized products to come out of Kingswood College Kandy and he captained the College to win the Carlton Super Sevens Inter-School Seven a side tournament in 2017 beating mighty St.Joseph’s in the finals.

full back has also joined Kandy Sports Club for the upcoming inter club rugby tournament. He also had the honour of representing Sri Lanka under 19 team at the Junior rugby Asiad under the coaching of Rohitha “Chichi” Rajapaksa and Viper Gunaratne led by Royalist Thulaib Hassan. Speaking to the Daily News Asiri said, “It’s a real challenge, but I’m up for it. I will put all my effort and rally around with my Kandy team mates to give off my very best for my Hill capital club to achieve success.”concluded Asiri.
