Author Gunasena Vithana passes away

Former Sri Lanka National Book Development Board (SLNBDB) Chairman Gunasena Vithana passed away yesterday.Vithana was the founding member of the Sri Lanka Book Publishers Association and its patron.

He was also the chairman of Janatha Lekaka Peramuna. The funeral will take place on August 28 at 4.30 p.m. at General Cemetery, Kanatte. Remains lie at the Jayaratne Respect parlour in Borella for the public to pay their last respects on August 27 and 28.
