Bangladesh HC observes Mujibnagar Day

The Bangladesh High Commission in Colombo observed Mujibnagar Day on Wednesday (17) marking the formation of Bangladesh’s first Government that led the War of Liberation in 1971.

The ceremony began with the placing of floral tributes at the portrait of Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by Bangladesh High Commissioner in Colombo Tareq Md Ariful Islam.
