Birth anniversary of PM Sirimavo today

The 108th birth anniversary of the late Sirimavo Bandaranaike, the world’s first woman Prime Minister, falls today (17 April).

A commemorative event will be held at 2.30 pm at the Lotus Hall of the Bandaranaike International Conference Hall attended by the late Prime Minister’s daughter former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga and other invitees.
