Boy burnt after father pours hot water

A three-year-old boy has been admitted to hospital with severe burn injuries after his father had poured hot water on him, Lindula Police said. It has been revealed in the preliminary investigations conducted by the Police that the father had brutally beaten his son and then poured hot water on him.

The Lindula Police say that the father of the child involved in the incident has fled the area and his information has been relayed to other Police stations.
