Cabinet endorses Budget 2023 agenda

The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for the Budget Programme 2023 presented by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardane, Government Information Department confirmed.

Accordingly, the Second Reading of the Appropriation Bill is scheduled to be held on November 14, 2022  and the Second Reading Debate will be started on November 15 and it will be continued for seven days till November 22. The Budget Committee Stage Debate has been scheduled for November 23 to December 8 and the Budget Voting will be held on December 8.
