Cabinet to reward Paralympic gold medalist Dinesh Priyantha

The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval for the proposal submitted by the Prime Minister as the Minister of Urban Development and Housing to transfer a housing unit worth rupees 14.2 million from the Metro Home housing project at Slave Island that was implemented by the Urban Development Authority as a free grant to him as a tribute to his dedication to crown the country with a win.

 

Herath Mudiyanselage Dinesh Priyantha was able to bring fame to Sri Lanka at the Paralympic 2020 held in Tokyo Japan by keeping a new world record and winning the gold medal at the javelin throwing event.
