The Sri Lanka Association of Racing Drivers and Riders (SLARDAR) will conduct the Cavalry Supercross after four years to be held on the October 29 at the Sri Lanka Army Armoured Corps track in Kurunegala, says Sri Lanka Automobile and Motorcycle Riders Association.
The event includes 13 car racing events and 79 car competitors have been registered. 84 competitors representing 11 motorcycle races are currently registered and 25 amateur (under 10 years old) competitors are included in the tournament.
It is a special event that the Cavalry Supercross is organized as the third round of the ‘Nippon Paint Sri Lanka Super Series’ after four years.
Due to the covid epidemic conditions, the motor sport in Sri Lanka had suffered a severe setback and SLARDAR is again conquering the racing track in Sri Lanka with several new series.
