Ceylinco Life’s commissions SLIM diploma, produces first batch of graduates
A group of thirty Ceylinco Life salespersons took centre stage recently, graduating as the first batch to complete a tailor-made Diploma in Financial Sales Management, designed by and for the life insurance leader in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).
The one-year qualification was introduced by Ceylinco Life to enhance the skills, knowledge and competencies of its sales personnel and to nurture a highly proficient sales force capable of tapping into premier markets and delivering exceptional services to customers, the Company said.
The diploma programme included rigorous coursework, examinations and assignments to ensure a well-rounded education for the candidates.
A wide range of subjects such as financial planning, communication, analytical skills development, time management, financial markets, taxation and more are included in the diploma.

The graduation ceremony of the first batch that completed the Ceylinco Life SLIM diploma took place at the Ceylinco Life Auditorium at the Company’s Head Office. The event was graced by Ceylinco Life Chairman R. Renganathan, the Company’s Managing Director and CEO, Thushara Ranasinghe, the President of SLIM Chinthaka Perera, Vice President of SLIM Prof. Jayantha N. Dewasiri, Directors of Ceylinco Life and other distinguished guests.
