Ceylon Green Life Plantation innovates ‘Deelectaa’ Guava Tea
Ceylon Green Life Plantation (Pvt) Ltd, the Company’s first anniversary coincided with unveiling of an innovative Guava Tea brand, ‘Deelectaa’.
“This double celebration is a significant milestone for our company that has embarked on empowering farming in the most innovative fashion. The Guava harvest will be our main economic product and ‘Deelectaa’ Guava Tea is an innovation which was long overdue”, said Ceylon Green Life Plantation (Pvt) Ltd Founder and Chairman Dr Marlon Francis Petersay.
“While catering to all nooks and corners of the country with 12 variants of ‘Deelectaa’ FMCG product we will venture into export markets that will bring foreign currency to the country. Hence ‘Deelectaa’ will be a product that adds value to the GDP of the country. The product will be in the marketplace from April this year”, he added.
Ceylon Green Life Plantation (Pvt) Ltd Chief Executive Officer of the FMCG sector, Hashan Haputhanthri said, the company entering into the FMCG sector is a huge milestone achieved on its first anniversary.
“The ‘Deelactaa’ Guava Tea product will be positioned in the minds of Generation Z and Alpha as our target market. The youth throughout the world let alone Sri Lanka are attracted to junk food hence a well-balanced diet is often neglected.”
“We are determined to persuade them towards consuming fruits via ‘Deelectaa’. We have planned a comprehensive advertising campaign for this purpose. Since our cultivations are mainly focused on fruits, we look forward to introducing many fruit categories in time to come”, he said.
“Ours is an investment portfolio oriented company. People from the society join hands with our company to invest on land in which we plant Guava and other fruits. Farmers who were in dire straits due to the economic downfall of the country were benefited by this win-win situation we created”, he added.
