The Colombo Commercial High Court yesterday ordered to six accused including the Directors and Secretary of a leading shoe manufacturing company and its secretary to produce their facts and file objections within month for action to not be taken against them for slandering the Court.
The case was taken up before Colombo Commercial High Court Judge Priyantha Fernando.
The case was filed against its Managing Director Kasun Rajapaksa, its Directors Thusitha Rajapaksa, Bhathiya Amarakoon, Asanka Rajapaksa, Nelani Rajapaksa and its Secretary Waruni de Silva, for acting contrary to the Court order issued to remove relevant Shoe Company?s Managing Director Sajith Rajapaksa from the all positions he held at the Company.
The case will be taken up again on December 05.
