Kantale in Sri Lanka’s Eastern Province has become the latest town to receive banking facilities from the Commercial Bank of Ceylon, with the opening of its 271st branch recently.
The new branch us located at Main Street, Kantale, equipped with an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) and a Cash Recycler Machine (CRM) that will provide access to services 24 hours of the day. The Commercial Bank’s network of automated machines in Sri Lanka grows to 952 terminals.
The Bank said the opening of this branch will be a boost to economic activity in Kantale, renowned for its agricultural produce, and now an important travel destination.
