With the torrential rains falling in Kalutara district these days, many roads in the area are inundated and traffic has been disrupted. Due to the opening of the sluice gates of the Kukule Ganga power plant, the Kuda Ganga overflowed and the Kalutara-Bulathsinhala main road was flooded and the traffic came to a standstill. Here, a newly wed couple in “Saddangoda” area in Warakagoda using a boat to cross the flooded area yesterday to participate in their home coming ceremony.
