Commodity Tax on Dates Reduced

The government has issued a special gazette notification announcing a reduction in the special commodity tax on dates.

The tax, previously set at Rs. 200 per kilogram, has been reduced to just Rs. 1 per kilogram. This adjustment will remain in effect until March 31, 2025.
