Country needs a 24/7 Government – Sajith

Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said that the country needs a government that works 24/7 in order to come out of the present crisis.

Premadasa said the need of the hour was to give relief to the people and this should be happen before everything else. He was addressing a farmers’ meeting in Kamburupitiya, recently.

Premadasa also said that under a SJB government farmers will be given every assistance possible.

He said a future SJB government will take prompt action to solve the fertilizer issue.

Speaking about the current status in the education sector, Premadasa said “No one can steal knowledge. Therefore education is extremely important for our country’s progress.

However, there are various divisions in education sector as well which is detrimental to its progress”.
