Court issues interim order against Cricket Committee

The activities of the Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee headed by Mr. Arjuna Ranatunga have been suspended for 14 days.

The Court of Appeal has issued a stay order against the Gazette issued by the Sports Minister on the appointment of the interim committee for Sri Lanka Cricket.

The court order has been issued after taking up for hearing a petition filed by SLC President Shammi Silva challenging the Gazette notification.
