Ambassador Khalid bin Hamoud Alkahtani handed over a gift of 50 tons of Dates from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques – may God protect him – to Sri Lanka, in the presence of the Secretary to the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Sri Lanka, Director of the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs, and Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Harbi, representative of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Religious Affairs expressed his thanks and gratitude for the valuable humanitarian aid provided by the Kingdom to his country.
This gift comes within the programmes provided by theKingdom’s government, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister for a number of brotherly and friendly countries.
