Data deleted in Sanjeeva’s phone left in plane from Nepal

The mobile phone used by Makilangamuwe Sanjeeva has been found abandoned in the plane in which he came to Sri Lanka from Nepal.

On checking this phone it was revealed that all the data on it has been deleted. Currently, the Criminal Investigation Department has forwarded the phone for a forensic investigation. Sanjeeva is currently detained in the Western North Crime Division. Investigations have revealed that he has received protection from a person with political connections as well as a politician from the Gampaha region.

As information has been received that Sanjeeva has even performed some tasks for the politician and Police are investigating that matter as well.
