Death of former CDN staffer’s mother

The death occurred of Mary Margaret Fernando of No.10, Nimala Maria Mawatha, Hendala, Wattala. She was the mother of former Daily News journalist Subash Fernando and Ashok Fernando. She is the wife of Late Xavier Fernando.

Remains lie at her residence 10, Nimala Maria Mawatha, Elakanda, Hendala and the burial will take place at the Kerawalapitiya cemetery in Hendala at 3.30 p.m today.
