Delgoda Sports Club distributes School requirements to needy students

Members of Delgoda Sports Club conducted a programme to distribute school supplies, including exercise books, to students in the Delgoda and Alubowila areas on Friday (24) in Delgoda Town.

This initiative, held for the third time, was sponsored by Engineer Nishantha Sanath Kumara, a member of the Delgoda Sports Club, now residing in Perth, Australia, in memory of his late parents.

Exercise books, bags, and shoes were presented to 145 students received. The event was coordinated by Delgoda Sports Club members Nandana Perera, S. N. Hettiarachchi, Tihlak Liyanage and Sunil Liyanage.

Chairman of the Delgoda Traders Association, Saman Liyanage, along with Idunil, Kithsiri Kumara, and area residents graced the occasion.
