Detention order issued on suspects arrested over threats to Israelis

The three suspects arrested in connection with the threat of a planned attack on Israeli nationals in Arugam Bay tourist zone will be further questioned over the incident.

Police Media Spokesman DIG NIhal Thalduwa said that the three suspects will be further questioned under detention orders issued through the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA). The suspects have been arrested by the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID).
