Devapathiraja Ratgama clinch Girl’s Elle Title

Devapathiraja College Ratgama of Southern province bagged Girl’s Elle Title of the All Island School Games yesterday. 27 teams from 9 provinces participated in the tournament.

Devapathiraja College Ratgama beat Kandalaya Maha Vidyalaya (North Western province) by 17-12 runs in the final match.

Kayankuda Kannaki Vidyalaya (Eastern province) won the third place in the tournament.

W. Shashini Gimhani of Devapathiraja College Ratgama was adjudged the Player of the Tournament.

The four-day tournament was held at Mahaweli stadium Embilipitiya. (YK)
