Dinesh Schaffter’s brother gives evidence at Magistrate’s Inquiry

The Magistrate’s Inquiry into the mysterious death of businessman Dinesh Schaffter took place at the official chamber of Colombo Additional Magistrate Rajindra Jayasuriya yesterday. A younger brother of the deceased provided evidence for one hour behind closed doors.

The Additional Magistrate observed that the court decided to hold the inquiry in-camera, following a request made by the relatives of the deceased person. The Magistrate fixed further inquiries for February 8.
