Dollar rate today : Rupee depreciates slightly against USD

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (03 March) compared to last Friday, with the selling rate reaching Rs. 313 at some banks.

According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar remain unchanged at Rs. 306.55 and Rs. 311.30, respectively.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US dollar has increased from Rs. 306.15 to Rs. 306.90, while the selling rate too has increased from Rs. 312.65 to Rs. 313.40.

People’s Bank reports the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 305.74 to Rs. 306.19, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 312.48 to Rs. 312.94.

Meanwhile, at Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US dollar have reduced from Rs. 304.11 to Rs. 303.96 and from Rs. 312.50 to Rs. 312.35, respectively. 

At Sampath Bank, the buying rate has increased from Rs. 306 to Rs. 306.75, and the selling rate from Rs. 312.50 to Rs. 313.25. (Newswire)
