Dora, the lion cub makes public debut at Ridiyagama Park

The first lion cub named ‘Dora’ born at the Ridiyagama Safari Park was displayed to the public from yesterday, said Hemantha Samarasekara, Assistant Director of the Department of National Zoological Gardens.

 

She was the first lion cub to be born to the lioness called ‘Lara’ at the Ridiyagama Safari Park.

 

He also said that the lion population at the safari park has increased to 15.
