Double murder reported in Karandeniya
A 43-year-old man is wanted over a double murder reported in Karandeniya on Thursday, the Police said.
According to the Police, a woman and her son were killed after being attacked with a sharp object in the Kebellagoda area.
The victims are a 74-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man, both residents of Karandeniya.
The Police state that a 43-year-old man, residing close to the victims, is suspected of carrying out the murders, while the cause is unknown yet.
The Karandeniya Police have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspect. (Newswire)
