Drowned PC promoted Sergeant

The Police constable Krishnamurthy Prathapan who drowned in pursuit of a suspect in Ja-ela has been promoted to Sergeant, posthumously.

Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Talduwa stated that this promotion has been given by the Inspector General to be effective from November 23.
