Drug dealer Anju’s acolyte Russel Smith arrested in Dubai

Russell Smith, who is said to be the chief acolyte and the person who looks after the property of the powerful drug dealer named Kudu Anju, who is in French custody, has been arrested by the police in Dubai.

According to the information received from the country, he was arrested with 40 million dirham’s and Ice drugs.

It is said that there were many properties that were bought by Anju in this country with the money allegedly earned from drug trafficking, in the name of Russell Smith.

After Anju was arrested by the French Police, Russell Smith is said to have sold all the properties and brought the money through Undiyal system to Dubai, according to intelligence sources.

Two criminals called Alto Dharme and Jude Priyantha are associated with Anju’s drug trade. They are also in Dubai. According to the information received by the intelligence agencies, Russell Smith has been arrested by the Dubai Police due to a plan hatched by Alto Dharme and Jude Priyantha as Smith had tried to take Anju’s place in the drug trade after Anju was arrested by the French Police. In this regard, in answer to a query made from several Police investigators in Sri Lanka, they said that there is not even a Red Notice against Russell.
