Economic priorities have failed to give a good life – Anura

NPP leader and its Presidential Candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake said a future NPP government will create a public service that makes the public servant happy.

He stated this recently while addressing the National Conference of Development Officers and Associated Service Officers in Colombo.

Dissanayake speaking further said, “On September 21, we will surely make a social transformation in this country. You are a result of free education in our country. After a long school life and university life, you will be contributing to the social development of our country.

“You are capable and intelligent people. But our social structure and economic priorities have failed to give you the opportunity to lead a good life.

They have failed to use your knowledge and ability effectively. You are not the only one who is left out of this socio-economic structure.

The citizens of this country will not get justice from this economic structure. We will assure you that we will build a socio-economic structure which will give you the correct place and viable opportunities.”
