Education reforms for Grade 6 pushed to 2027 – Cabinet

The Cabinet has decided to implement the proposed education reforms for Grade 6 from 2027, instead of 2026, Cabinet Spokesperson said.

Accordingly, more time will be allocated to further review the proposed reforms to the Grade 6 English curriculum, following concerns raised over the content and implementation process.

The Cabinet also decided that the existing Grade 1 module will continue without any changes. (Newswire)
