Eight new RO plants boost access to safe drinking water in Anuradhapura

The Navy’s Research and Development Unit, in collaboration with the Naval Social Responsibility Project and funded by the Presidential Secretariat, spearheaded the installation of 31 Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants in the Anuradhapura district.

As part of this initiative, three new RO plants were inaugurated on December 12, serving Mahakanumulla Community Hall premises in the Thirappane Divisional Secretariat and 231 Eastern Village and Katukeliyawa of Moragahawela belonging to the Kahatagasdigiliya Divisional Secretariat.
